Welcome to Cedar County!
Purpose

The Cedar County Conservation Board office is located in Tipton, Iowa.  Our job is
to acquire, develop and maintain parks, preserves, parkways, playgrounds,
recreational centers, county forests, wildlife and other conservation areas within
Cedar County for use by our citizens.   

Located in many of these areas the Conservation Board offers :
Camping
Picnic Shelters
Fishing Locations
Hiking Trails
Hunting Areas
Playground Equipment
Programs for Organizations

The Cedar County Conservation Board also offers a variety educational programs
throughout the year for schools, youth groups, scouts, clubs, church groups, and
service organizations.

Call the office to learn more about specific topics and to schedule a program.
SHELTERS AT ALL PARKS CAN BE RESERVED
There is a fee of $15 for all shelters.
