Junior Naturalist
Cedar County Conservation Board
1.  Attend three public programs offered
throughout the year by the Cedar County
Conservation Board.  These programs
include things such as wildflower hikes, our
fishing clinic, hunters safety program,
summer camps and more!

2.  Complete two independent
(on your own)
activities such as reading a nature book,
fishing with your friends, hiking or camping
with your family or riding your bike along a
nature trail.

3.  Fill in a Junior Naturalist flier
(available at
the Conservation Board Office)
with the activities
you did and return it to the CCCB
Naturalist.

When you turn in your completed flier you
will receive a certificate of achievement
and a cool embroidered Junior Naturalist
patch!  The patches change every year, so
you can participate each year and try to
collect them all.
If you are between the ages of 6 and 12 years
old, you can participate in the Iowa Junior
Naturalist Program.  It's as easy as 1, 2, 3!
